The Agri-Business Caravan (ABC) Project was introduced to the five municipalities of Northern Iloilo through a series of Roadshows cum ICT Orientations. Together with the Municipal Agriculture (MAO) and Municipal Social Welfare and Development Offices (MSWDO) under the Local Government Units (LGUs) Business Fair Trade Consulting (bizFTC) was able to create a more exciting way of showcasing how youth involvement in the field of agri-business can help communities prepare for calamities, secure food for each household and restore livelihood especially in post-calamity situation.

Participants were shown the project development road map to familiarize them with the various activities lined-up and see what trainings would be relevant to them and enlist themselves for the said event. They were also oriented on the use of mobile technology as an aid in communicating with other youth and gaining access to information on agri-business topics such as community organizing, farming entrepreneurship and product development of calamity resilient cash crops. The youth and other farming family members were also introduced to the support providers namely, Philippine Business for Social Progress (PBSP), Accenture Inc., and Smart Inc.
