Coaching for Sustainable Livelihood at GK Nakar, Quezon

Coaching for Sustainable Livelihood is a follow through project funded by Smart Communication, Inc. under the Public Affairs Office aimed at sustaining the initial livelihood efforts on sculpture making from driftwood provided to Gawad Kalinga community in Barangay Anoling, General Nakar Quezon.

One regular consultant of BizFTCfacilitated the development efforts for Gawad Kalinga community in sustaining their sculpture business and organizational development.  The consultant facilitated planning, implementation and monitoring of activities to link up with market, enhance production, quality assurance and inventory system, formulation and updating of policies and procedures and installation of financial recording system.

The BizFTC Trainer/Consultant provided the one-on-one coaching to officers, committees and sculptors on a regular basis; set up financial recording and inventory systems of sculptures, tools and equipment; linked to Specialty shops in Quezon City, Makati City, Manila and Los Banos for marketing support facilitated; organized 3 exhibits to showcase products to potential art collectors.
