Third PDQAS Training Held at Palm Garden Resort

The event showcased youth cooks who were challenged to deliver recipes under time pressure observing good manufacturing practice. The first group composed of (from left to right) Imee, Mary Joy, Joanie, Robilyn, Kimberly, and Joseph were congratulated by Al Caballero (Nego Saka Kithcen Supervisor) for winning the PDQAS challenge.

 

PBSP interviews ABC Champion Youth Leaders

Al and Aiz who showcased Alaiz Foods (Nego Saka on wheels) during the I am Changemaker Camp 2014 were interviewed by Philippine Business for Social Progresss (PBSP) capturing their experience and plans for its expansion to other areas in northern Iloilo.

 

Field visits and farming activities with Youth Moblizers (YMs) and the youth

Undaunted by the cold and wet weather, the ABC team was able to visit several communities to encourage the youth to continue farming as they enter the replanting season of January.

 

Second VCD Workshop with the 5 Municipalities of Northern Iloilo 

Local stakeholders from Ajuy, Balasan, Carles, Concepcion and Estancia were present at the VCD to discuss the progress of the project and how each could contribute more to the furtherance of the vegetable farming industry of the area.
